Shaking down "the boxing kangaroo"

So after sailing in Australia for 2,5 months, it was quite a shock to be back in the cold Northern Hemisphere Winter brrrrr.

But Having a brand new Bladerider in the garage.......it couldn't take long before baptising it.

With my wisdom teath removed on tuesday i had to wait a couple of days to let the pain settle.

With a cheek as fat as a pig i set of today, with my brother Sven as reference i launched my boat. And great it was 10kn of wind 8 degrees. Thank god for my Gill drysuit. (Or actually thank Gill ;)

After fiddeling arround with my rod, my boat became quicker and quicker rolling my brother at times :) It was a great sail....untill i had to go in the freezing water and swim my boat to shore brrrrr. But it was nothing a hot shower couldn't help.

Tommorow we'll sail again in Muiden together with 2 other Bladeriders, so hopefully we can get some races in.

So since basically every Mothie has started a blog, i thought why the hell not. I might as well just start one!

Yesterday i visited the Bladerider "brain centre" and Simon gave me some pointers on how to go faster.

Now it's time to lick our wounds from the 470 worlds and head home, although writing this overlooking Manly beach i don't really want to go home!!!!!
